Siqun Wang, the Professor in the Tennessee Forest Products Center, the member of Forest Products Society, Society of Wood Science & Technology, American Chemical Society and Society of Plastic Engineers. Research areas: manufacture and performance of wood-based composites, natural fiber-reinforced plastic composites, bio nanocomposites, dimensional stability, consolidation, optimization of pressing strategy, wood furnish drying, and wood adhesion.
Siqun Wang studied and worked in the Nanjing Forestry University from 1978 to 1995. He was competitively offered the position of an assistant lecturer, and an Associate Professor in the University in 1993. He spent 1996 in School of Wood Science and Engineering (ENSTIB), at The University of Nancy 1, France, where he was involved in the wood adhesives research.
Dr. Wang has authored or co-authored more than 100 technical publications and journal articles. He has received awards from UT Institute of Agriculture, Society of Wood Science & Technology, American Museum of Science and Energy, Nanjing Forestry University, the Educational Department of Jiansu Province, the Society of Wood Science of China and Ministry of Forestry of China.
